“So I have to share this story because it was just such a rare experience to have at a restaurant. We've been going to the East of Chicago in Ossian for awhile now. Nothing new, same good pizza. Same good people. The other day my family went in to sit down and have a meal. The owner has always been extra friendly with us and my young daughter. But today the owner saw that my daughter wasn't eating. No specific reason, the terrible twos are sitting in hard and she's just extra picky. Well the owner saw this, and went out of her way to make a plate of spaghetti for my daughter. She thought that maybe my daughter didn't like what we had ordered and wanted to get her something else. We don't know the owner that well which made this experience so much better. It's not like we've been friends for years and she's just helping out again. She is just legitimately a good person and goes out of her way to be friendly with people. We always said we liked East of Chicago in Ossian but this nails the point home.”

“China Wok opened its doors in December 2000. Throughout the first 10 years of its existence it had an all day buffet, as well as booths and other tables in a second room. Four years or so ago, China Wok closed its dining room, and it is smaller than it used to be. There is one Chinese lady that does most of the cooking in the kitchen, she also delivers the foods to the customers in the “lobby.” China Wok relies solely on “take-out” orders. If you want to, you can “dine in”, or you can do “take-out.” She is very friendly, and is a great person to talk to. If you love Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend eating here! :-)”
