“The Garver Family recently had to let our Mom go to her father. Mom requested cremation and a small service. Mom visited Covington Memorial often, which is where her biological father is buried. Our family set down with Kayla and Eric to discuss what my Mom's wishes were and the best way to accomplish them. Kayla and Eric's compassion, wit, humor, and professionalism were above and beyond. The pricing for all of the services that we purchased were extremely reasonable. Communications with Kayla and Eric leading up to the service was impressive and responsive. The night of the service, Eric stayed late just to say Hi, and pay his respects to our Mom. Kayla stayed late as our service pushed past our expected end time with no hesitation. The facility was setup for the service, and was clean and orderly. It was the perfect atmosphere for my Mom and our family. Overall our family could not be more pleased with the service, attention to detail, compassion, and services of Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Within just a few minutes my mind was put at ease knowing they would make sure he would be taken care of. We met a couple days later to finalize plans. Leslie and her family was so kind in helping get everything planned that would honor my Dad and the things he loved. They were kind and loving and I know they truly cared that Dad had the kind of service that celebrated his love of his family and University of Kentucky Wildcats! From the planning to the burial and now even after they check in to make sure I’m okay. You don’t get that kind of care everyday. I’m thankful to have met these wonderful people. I count Mark, Leslie, Conner, Parker and Todd as family. They truly care for families as their own and I appreciate that.”

Could have offered coffee, water and cookies but did have a vending machine. Was much better that Crothersville's funeral home over all.”

“Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville, Indiana is where we had my paternal Grandpa and paternal Grandma, my aunt, and most recently my Mom’s funeral. Fritz Reisert, the funeral home director, has always been helpful and very caring and compassionate about helping the families through a very difficult time. Anything you need, he will help get it done. My Grandma had broken her glasses before she passed but she didn’t look right without her glasses. I was going to try to find a pair of reading glasses that looked similar and purchase them. Fritz brought out a basket of all different kinds of glasses and right on top was a pair like she had in the past. It worked perfect and it was the finishing touch. My Mom was very thin when she passed and her cheeks were sunken in. We were only having a graveside service with family per her wishes, but Fritz really did a great job filling in her cheeks so she looked like she did before she got sick. It is the extra little, caring things that make the family get through this difficult time easier and that is because of Fritz Reisert and Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home!!! We won’t go anywhere else for our funeral needs.”
