“My Prius C4 showed the ‘replace battery pack’ code a couple of weeks ago. I took it to O’Reilly’s and it was confirmed. Then took it straight to Toyota, but didn’t get the work done there ($3,000). I also took it to another mechanic to make sure it wasn’t the electric motor or head gasket. I was nervous about spending so much money. After much online research (and cleaning the filter under the backseat) decided to replace the battery pack through Greentec Auto. When I. Called and spoke to John, he was extremely knowledgeable about hybrids and hybrid batteries. I even called and asked to speak to one of the mechanics that worked on my car, and he was very polite and informative in telling me all the things they checked first before replacing the battery. I placed the order for the battery, they built and installed it, and my car was back on the road and runs great again. The warrantee is also fantastic. I have peace of mind knowing that if anything goes wrong with the reconditioned battery the replacement process is quick.
