“My son played soccer here with Parks and Rec. Fields aren't very well marked so it was hard to find his. Outside of that though, Black Bob park has several nice amenities including batting cages and a community pool with a lazy river and slides.”

“Great trails with some really picturesque areas for family or other picture ideas. Staff is friendly and eager to help and answer questions as well. Kids enjoy the nature center and we even had a pair of deer right by the trail feeding. Great for a fall afternoon family outing. My 10yr old son did a field trip here a few weeks ago too and was telling us all about what he learned as we walked through the park and what he did at various areas. The program they did was obviously memorable for him!”

“Nice park with plenty of shade, pavilion and public bathrooms. Parking area is around the corner. Park has a few different play structures than some of the other parks we have been to such as a Merry go round and some teeter totters.”

“Small park with a nice and clean playground, well maintained. Has access to walking trails that are in a semi-wooded area. Keep an eye out for snakes around the creek and don't forget the dreaded oak mites (haven't been bitten, but they sound awful). Covered picnic table area available. No parking lot, plenty of street parking; no bathroom.”

“There’s hardly a trail in Kansas that’s quite like the Indian Creek Trail, besides the connected Tomahawk Creek. The ICT allows you to bike at most 40 miles, going both ways from a location. The trail goes all the way from Leawood (though it connects to the Blue River trails in Missouri) to Hampton Park, in Olathe! If you are looking for bike trails to start off in the KC area, the ICT’s your best bet, considering the drive to the enormous Katy Trail is hours.”
