“I contacted Matt almost two years before we relocated to Overland Park from Colorado. We were in the midst of remodeling our Colorado home and wading through the process of adopting our foster son (which would take the entire two years hence) He set us up to receive emails of listings just so we could start getting a sense of the market. About 4 months ago, we began lookin in earnest as our Colorado home had sold, and we at least knew the month we'd be able to finalize the adoption. Since we were still in Colorado, Matt was gracious and patient through the process. I can't tell you how many homes he took videos of for us, recording complete walk-throughs. We finally found a weekend we could drive from Colorado to Overland Park and he took us to 13 homes in a three day period. We had our three small kids with us, and he was so patient while we looked at each home. Many times, he would entertain the kids while we looked a house over again and again. We finally found the perfect home, and he advised that we wait to make an offer because it had had two open houses and many showings but no offers. We finally made an offer for asking price on the evening of the weekend when we were sure there were no other offers, and our offer was accepted. We did not waive inspection, and we did not have to get in a bidding war. He was always communicative about weekends he would be out of town, and he always had backups in case he wasn't available. Even after our offer was accepted, he met electricians and interior designers at the house while we were under contract, so we could keep our projects moving forward. He even introduced us to his mortgage broker, David Vrooman, and suggested that a local broker was far more preferable to the larger ones. We already had pre-approval from two other lenders, and there was no comparison at all to the service we got from David who ended up getting us a rate that was 2% below the market rate at a time when the FED was increasing rates several months in a row. Matt is a stellar agent.”
