“The boba wasn't what i had in mind "For the best boba in town". Not. Maybe if it was frozen for the matcha green tea. I also had the Black garlic ramen. Now they did perfect with the broth, however the pork had fat that was seasonless and too big of slices so it wasnt easy to eat with the ramen. The ramen was cooked perfect, the mushrooms were great loved how they were sliced, wish the seaweed and pork was in strips as well. The egg was delicous as well. All around i would eat it again the flavor that was there paired well to me bc i love garlic like i do. I think someone who was new to it wouldnt like it though bc it was bland otherwise. Ill try it next time w chicken. I also shared an appetizer spicy beef gyoza that deserves 10 stars that is the most delicous fried dumplings! The sauce, the meat, was so delicious im addicted. My mouth is watering thinking about it. My partner had the tonkatsu/ chicken katsu bowl the fried rice was super delicious perfectly cooked and the grilled onions we done perfect as well very savory. However, the fried chicken just needed a bit more salt or flavor it was bland as well as the shrimp but all around it was a delicious flavor that paired well together and still all of it tasted clean and fresh just needed a bit o flavor on the meats. Now i will go back and try another item. The atmosphere felt like a small shop that was outside but inside. Loved the drawing because who doesnt like anime! And the t-shirts are so cute! Its a bit small for all the business foot traffic and if you dont eat inside theres no real waiting area, you feel like you are in the way. Besides all that the service was great and those ladies were very kind and they wore masks and sat everyone 6 feet apart. I am definitely going back.”

“Restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The menu options were interesting and there was a good variety, not just the normal pizza topping options. The “Kansan” and “Great White” were both delicious and good options if tomato sauce give you heartburn. Price was good for the serving size and the service was quick. Would recommend to others and go there again myself.”

“I like to think of The Monarch as the Iconic Heart of Wichita's Delano District. Situated on a roundabout it is impossible not to be drawn in by the inviting patio and delicious smells as you drive past. There is ample parking on the street or in the lot behind the restaurant itself and 2 entries for customer convenience. The patio is perfect for people-watching and a little sunshine while you eat or refresh yourself with one of many signature cocktails or local brews. The name Monarch is very fitting as it seems that the restaurant is ever evolving, transforming into something new and exciting without losing the comfort of it's originality. The inside atmosphere provides a range of seating options from bar to booth and high-top tables to suit all comfort levels and is adorned with unique pieces that intrigue diners as they dine without the hokey flair of some chain establishments. In each of my memorable experiences at The Monarch, the staff have been attentive, knowledgeable and courteous without being overly supplicant, I've always felt that I'm speaking with a friend who invited me over to dinner rather than a 'customer'. There are a myriad of choices for dining in Wichita but the Monarch is in my top 3 for a very good reason. Take a visit for yourself and find out!”

“Very expansive menu with a good selection of sushi and hot entrees. The sushi is fresh and very good for the price. The entrees are all so savory! The service was incredibly attentive and very helpful!”
