I have taken my cars to him for about 15 years (since his shop was on Johnson Dr) and his work has been top notch and his assessments and estimates have been accurate and honest. There have even been times when I taken a vehicle to him expecting an expensive/extensive repair only to have him tell me that it wasn't needed and that a simple/cheap fix is all that was needed (first mechanic I've ever had do that!). When he does a job, he does it right -- sometimes that means it's a bit more expensive than going to a shop that will cut corners, "improvise," or use cheap parts, but the result is that Kevin's work is a quality, long-lasting repair. “Like many folks, I inherently don’t trust mechanics. So, I wasn’t expecting much when I randomly decided to take my Volvo to this one. I called the shop, told them I needed a simple tire patch. To my surprise, BK fit me right in. Almost immediately, I was impressed. Forgetting we are in the midst of a global pandemic, I reached to shake BK’s hand, which he gently reciprocated by performing an elbow bump. Truthfully, I wasn’t counting on someone trying to earn my business off of a $30.00 tire patch. This sort of customer service doesn’t exist anymore, or so I thought. BK proceeded to tell me that he was there for me for any of my automotive needs, and took the time to answer any questions I had. That would have been stellar had the shop been slow, but it wasn’t. Auto Werks’ reputation precedes it, and there is an almost constant stream of cars going in and out of the shop. Honest to goodness, the world needs more businesses and business owners, like Auto Werks/BK. Thanks for taking the time to read my novel.
