“For the price, it's really a very nice water park. It would definitely be nice if they had some lockers that would lock for your key and supplies. There were a handful of lockers outside that mentioned bringing your own locks though I didn't actually see where you could put one in. It has a nice little lazy River as well as a water pad. There's one very small child water slide and one relatively good sized water slide for those over 42 in.”

“Good place to take the family swimming once in a while. Lot's to do from the small splash pad, to the diving boards, slides, basketball, zero entry pool. Plenty of seats and if they're all taken there's room in the grass under some trees for shade too. They offer membership deals but I may as well buy a pool for my house for what it'd cost my family.”

“We decided to visit this exhibit through the Sunflower Fun summer program. We were quite pleasantly surprised with our experience. While it doesn't look fancy as you drive up (other than some impressive full-size dinosaurs peeking out from above), it was a really great experience. The price included a simple and fun 18 holes of mini golf and the walk-through dinosaur exhibit. The golf course isn't fancy, but it was plenty of fun. When our balls went in the water, they floated, so we could fish them out. Great news for a parent of young overzealous children. One of the holes even had a benefit for going into the stream. As we walked through the main exhibit, we saw many dinosaurs we'd never heard of before. Each one had a board with plenty of interesting information, and there were far more dinosaurs than any similar exhibit I'd seen previously, well more than 30. Most of them moved or made sounds. The kids area was fun for my grade-school aged kid. He spent at least 40 minutes in the sand excavation area alone. He even liked putting the 3-D dinosaur puzzle together, something he's not usually interested in finishing. The bathrooms were spread around the area and were all clean. There were a few food and drink options for those who wanted to purchase food and picnic tables for eating. We opted to bring a picnic lunch this time. Probably the most impressive part of was the staff. Everyone was friendly, which is something one should expect. But they were also proactive in involving the visitors in activities and information. We were stopped by more than one person who asked my son questions and shared interesting facts. When kids were playing in the excavation area, one of the employees invited them to one corner for a myth buster game that was short and fun. It's clear the employees care about the the exhibit and the guests.”

“Overall, staff and volunteers have well maintained this spacious facility. The workout machines were clean, as compared to other YMCA locations nearby. Had a great experience overall. Highly recommend to people passing through the area. 5/5 stars.”

“Big fun! Took my brother and his wife from GA. My 30 something kids and grandkids came, 16, 11, 9 and 15mos. 2-hour pass bought, even for my 62yo husband (who kept up with the best of the young best 🤣) really worth the price. We got the floating cabana for a few that didn’t jump and swim, and the baby loved hanging out on that. Suggest completing the waivers ahead of time online to save time 🌟”

“This is the best place to take the kids. They are back open and very safe after the whole COVID 19 pandemic. They are still keeping safety as their top priority and allowing students opportunities to learn how to be independent and responsible citizens. Way to go staff!. Come I. Out and start jumping!”

“Went out for their Exiled: haunted forest Halloween haunted house. I had an absolute blast. Fairly priced, they have this neat trail including sloped school bussed you climb up through as part of the circuit. Long line to get to the entrance since it's staged entry so plan on 1-3 hour line. They make it fun though with actors coming back and forth, classic scary movies shown on a projector, and photo ops.”

“Great find! Perfect go between your basic public pool and Oceans of Fun! It's the perfect size. Not so big you're paranoud about losing a kid and not so small you've seen the whole thing in 11 minutes. Their co creation stand is pretty exceptional and very reasonably priced. 2 separate children's areas with zero entry and splash park. There is an even more low-key section of the park for infants which has an extremely shallow pool. Most water parks I visit lump the infants in with the toddlers, so I thought the separation here was nice. Lots of shades seating and there are always plenty of chaise lounges, which is a rarity at any public pool!”

“Its one of the best things Ive ever done. Driving a "NASCAR" at 148mph was great. I cant wait to do it again. And you can get free Goodyear tires as a souvenir. The plaques and videos are over priced but totally worth it.”

“Easy to get to from the highway. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time in the water park and going on the quests. We were there in the off season so some things were not open or available; the fewer crowds made it worth while.”

“The lazy river create a fun adventure throughout the park. Rides are varied in speed and height. The waterboard allows for knee boarding experiences at no extra cost. Entire facility was clean. Well supervised by life guards. Definitely a must do for our future trips to KC!”

“If you have babies through elementary aged children, this is a great place to hang out for several hours to avoid the heat. Zero entry pools with handicap accessibility allow even infants to feel like big kids. My daughter has been obsessed with the wave pool this summer and her siblings enjoy the water slide. The only area that is deeper than 2-3 feet is one pool behind the water playground. My independent swimmers spent lots of time there perfecting their handstands, but it doesn’t allow for actual extended swimming. If you have a budding competitive swimmer seeking to improve endurance they would be better served elsewhere, but for water play and hanging out this pool is fantastic.”

“Great place to take kids to cool down, there's restrooms near by, and parking. The downsides, no area to sit that has SHADE. No water fountain to get a drink from that I saw, and no regular play ground right next to it, just a skate park. It's also rather small, so it's crowded with 10 kids.”

“Great place for kid’s and small children. Seemed well staffed, the facility was clean and well cared for, and I appreciated there were some shady areas too. I read on Kansas City’s 435 magazine that this pool had an adults only section that I was looking forward to for some quiet, but that didn’t seem to exist.”
