“We tried an assortment of Donut Palace donuts. All were very fresh and tasty. The yeast style were light not greasy. Icing and glazes were not over powering or over the top, just right. It's important to be able to see and taste the donut and we were able to do both with all of this assortment. We liked the apple fritters, the white cake with the white glaze, the fried cinnamon roll and the regular cakes equally as well. This location was clean and inviting. The owner and his crew was a delight! Great customer service! Their menu also features breakfast burritos as well breakfast croissants. I wish The Donut Palace much success! Genuinely a mom and pop shop! I definitely recommend this location.”

“Went to A & W on 4-21-21 @ 5:20 PM thru the drive thru. Was told I would have to wait for another 5 min due to fish coming out of the fryer. Instructed to pull out in the parking lot and park in the area I was instructed to pull into. I parked and waited at least 15 to 20 min and still no food. I walked up close to the drive thru window to see what was going on, still no food for another 5 to 10 min, and the drive thru line was growing to at least 7 to 10 cars cars in the line. Finally a waitress came out and brought us our food. She said the order was correct, which it wasn't, it was lacking the side I had ordered. And she said that the fryer had broke down and sorry for the inconvenience. Got home and the fish was all dried out and was like shoe leather, no sides and my hamburger bun was blackened on the top and bottom. The fries were all dried out and cold. Why couldn't the employees be truthful with their customers. I would have gladly liked my money back and would have went somewhere else. Oh well, I guess they will continue to get bad reviews, and continue to lose their customers like me.”

“First time at Club 27 and it was a great experience. The garage door was open in the bar area, with plenty of patio seating. You could sit at the inside part of the bar or outside, which is fun. Without the outdoor seating, it would have been very crowded. We were told about a 30 minute wait on a Friday evening but we’re able to get a spot at the bar earlier. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the Thai salmon. It had a sweet and tiny bit of spice glaze that was delicious. The prime rib dip was also great. We will definitely be back again post golf to try more of the cocktails and food options. Update: stopped here for the second time after golfing and enjoyed the Sunday happy hour. Pretzel bites were great with mustard and a cheese sauce for dipping. Got the Cobb salad, even though it wasn’t on special. It was good but I did have to cut the lettuce smaller. However, the Korean fried chicken sandwich was phenomenal! Definitely recommend.”

The food itself was very good, a little on the pricier side of things at about $20 to $30 a person. They are a little stingy in their lemons and limes with your water for the price of the food, and they only brought us one tiny loaf of bread before our meal came, but we also didn't ask for another... Although we thought about it. Good experience though and I would definitely say you should check it out if you haven't been.”

“My husband and I decided to take a day trip from our home in Wichita to Ark City. After reading the great reviews for this restaurant we just had to try it. The food exceeded all expectations. It rivals all the exceptional southern restaurants we have visited in the south! We both had the yummy meatloaf. My greens were the best I have EVER had. The mac & cheese and cornbread were awesome too, but the "icing on the cake" was the friendly conversation after our meal with the owner Marilyn and her sister who was there visiting her. Wonderful folks! You walk away feeling like you have known them for years. Our experience was worth the trip! We plan on many more visits.”

“My kids 2 years and 9 months LOVED this place!!!! They have trains going around the room all over above you and then you order by picking up the phone and placing your order. Then your food comes by train and drops down from the ceiling!!!! We could actually have adult conversations my husband and I because the kids were AMAZED by these trains!!!! Many families with older kids came in and they were just as excited. The trains are not super loud so you can still talk which was very nice.”
