“On a cross-country road trip with four small kids when my check engine light came on. I was recommended Octane by a towing service. I explained to them the urgency of our situation, and I was so relieved to find that they would be able to see us right away. This was a Godsend to six out-of-towners, including a very tired baby. Within about an hour, we were on the road again. The gentlemen helping us were professional and friendly, and they were patient with four impatient kids and their parents. “I haven't really felt motivated to review a gas station before, but my experience here today was positive. I can't speak to the amenities for truckers, like showers, but the bathrooms were clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The folks stopping through were all good friendly people too, I ended up having a nice conversation while picking out a drink before I got back on the road. From the old reviews this sounds like a place to avoid, but my experience today has me planning on making this my pit stop on the way back.”
