“Wow so many improvements to this historic site. No more line snaking outside. There is a friendly greeter who takes your information and a digital board to watch as your name pops from the wait section on the left to the service section with kiosk number on the right. Bonus! There are seats to sit in. My only regret is that all the historic wood on the floors and the court rooms are gone; told it was necessary to keep the building. A little sad. I've been going here since my friend's dad was Sheriff of Independence back in the 1970s. They did keep the marble so that's a plus and most important, they kept the building!”
