“We couldn’t even get someone to answer the phone at Miquels and we were out getting gas and there it was, the orange sign. I went in and was a little afraid when I saw it was an “express”, but they had HOT N READY pizza! It’s hard to find food in the area and we were tired from hiking and just wanted to go eat and relax. But I was really surprised that this Little Caesar’s pizza was the best one I have ever had. Fresh and hot and perfect. Next time we stop on the way in and grab the pizza pizza first before we get to the campsite. Thanks guys! The chocolate chip cookies were awesome too!”

“This is a little hole in the wall… that did NOT disappoint!!! I had the birria tacos and they were delicious! The meat was tender, juicy & well seasoned. Had a margarita that was tasty and definitely not lacking in spirits.… and, what the heck it was on special for only $3!!! Definitely recommend “My Little Finca.” Like I said, it’s “a hole in the wall” so, don’t be expecting an upscale atmosphere. The food & margarita were top notch.”

“We enjoyed our stay last summer (2023) at Callie’s Lake and Campground. It has a friendly, relaxed, festive atmosphere. Lots of families enjoying time together and enjoying the beautiful Red River Gorge area. The on site restaurant was wonderful, and the karaoke and live music was a nice surprise. A big thumbs up goes to the private bathrooms! They are way better than community bath setups. They were diligent about keeping them clean as well. Nice location close to The Gorge and associated activities. You’ve gotta try Miguel’s Pizza while in the area! We will definitely be back. 😊”

“Sue's has a plethora of choices for the hot dog enthusiast, and also takes care of the sausage and pulled pork lovers. Priced reasonably! Be aware that large orders take time: our group of 9 took them a while to complete. No dine in or walk-up, only drive through. Two picnic tables if you stay. Food was hot, creative, and tasty. Will return!”
