“Taking time to leave a review because I noticed all of the negative ratings and I have only great things to say about Madison Peds, so here's a positive. I've taken all 3 of my children to this office since my first was born in 2017. 7 years and 3 kiddos later, I've never had a poor experience and we have been *a lot* from well checks to a serious infection, many different illnesses, and developmental concerns. I've been given referrals when I've needed them, samples when my child had the worst eczema that would not clear up no matter what we tried. I've been treated with respect by everyone in that office and always felt heard. Dr. Hazelwood has been all 3 of my kiddos doctor and he ALWAYS listens, patiently, and makes me feel like he has time to address our concerns. He is very personable with my kids and my youngest who is difficult...to say the least...and screams the entire visit every single visit and you can't even talk over her...he has never once acted frustrated or annoyed and makes sure I hear him and does his check over her all the same. He is thorough and knowledgeable, and I trust him 150%. Over the years there have been times it's been his day off and I've had an urgent situation and had to see another doctor, and I've been pleased with them all. Especially Dr. Alan Richards and Dr. Salins. Dr Richards has caught a serious infection and sent us to Lexington when my oldest was just a baby and I'll never forget that. Any other time we have seen him he's seemed very knowledgeable, and I've felt confident in his answers and thankful for his patience, too, as I like to understand what is going on and how to best help my kids get better. I recommend this practice to all new moms I know and I'm glad I have them to care for my children. If we ever move, I'll travel here anyways.”

“I traveled to Casey County to do a ride along when I was a brand new EMT. I was very favorably impressed. The crews were super friendly and professional with their patients. Although facing the challenges of being short-staffed and tight budgeted like almost all other rural ambulance services, Casey County Ambulance Service is proving outstanding ALS service to the citizens and communities of Casey County. Most of the equipment was more up to date than other rural agencies. All the equipment on the truck was in great condition. I observed the supervisor's interactions with the staff and there was obvious mutual respect. The EMTs and Paramedics treated their patients and co workers like family. Everyone remained cool and collected, even in very stressful situations. No one wants to be the person having to call an ambulance but a kind, friendly, and professional EMS team is comforting when it does come to that point. The citizens of Casey County are fortunate to have the dedicated ladies and gentlemen that work for the ambulance service who are willing to sacrifice sleep, family time, hobbies, and many other activities to serve their community as emergency medical service. They are a great team of people who go "above and beyond" to serve others. Thank you for your service!”
