“Highly recommend making reservations online, extremely easy process and our table was waiting for us when we got there. It was however a little difficult to actually find the place. We had small children (2,5) and the waitress was so helpful and gave us so much grace the entire time! Put their orders in right when we got there so they weren’t waiting and even made sure they had spill proof cups. The food was very good as well.”

“The property is beautiful. You could take 2-3 hrs just enjoying the gardens. The house furnishings are amazing and a must see. The tour guide did a great job telling the history and answering our questions. The oak trees are massive and the grounds are covered with these beauties. Walk up to the river to get a good view of what they would have seen before the levee was built. I highly recommend Houmas House and Gardens.”
