“One of our favorite parks! Lots of space for kids to run and play, and the playground is great any time of year. During the summer the splash pad is a wonderful spot to visit. There are lots of park benches and seats around the park, though I've frequently wished there were more benches surrounding the playground. The nature trails are also a big hit with my family.”

“Very nice park, great place for families to have a picnic, and beautiful scenery right on LSU lake. I enjoy coming here for sunsets. Picnic tables with covering, or out in the open with a grill, are provided. There are also bathroom facilities. Walking/running trail around lake just about 4.5 mi. My family and I have also brought bread crumbs to feed ducks as well. There is much open space to play frisbee or soccer, and there is also adequate tree coverage for hotter days too.”
