“A pleasant surprise in the heart of Zachary. Seen the place plenty of times on my way to work. Thought it was more of a sea food place. On a whim, decided to go and what a pleasant surprise. The location has plenty of parking, the inside is clean and modern. The staff is super friendly. But, it is more than a restaurant, the also sell packaged pre made foods and cuts of meat! Had their version of onion rings which was just right. Then for dinner, we had the steak, potatoes, green beans (which I skipped) and a brownie. The potatoes was awesome, bacon, cheese was just perfect. The steak was cooked just right and juicy. This place is simply awesome! One happy person.”

From ordering to receiving the food, approximately 5-7 minute wait. My breakfast plate tasted great with all the side items. My cup of orange juice was a small cup. The location is in a bit of strange location being that there is alot of warehouses and this place being the only restaurant. It works though. The atmosphere of this place is like a touch of familiarity being like you been here before if you went to small town restaurants. I enjoyed my breakfast here and I see it is popular with Baton Rouge Fire Dept.”

I felt like I was eating in my Grandmas or Aunts kitchen. I've since relocated here. I ordered dinner tonight and I had the same feeling. I order the same thing every time. “They were very busy the Sunday we stopped in while passing through town. But they were quick to take our order and were very accommodating in allowing us to wait while it was prepared. They had self serve drinks so we were able to sit and refresh while watching a little TV. It was definitely worth the wait! I had a bacon cheeseburger that was cooked to Perfection and well-dressed, my son had one of the best shrimp Po boys that he has ever had. I got fries that were lightly but perfectly seasoned and he got handmade onion rings that were fried in a crispy batter and absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful and checked on us throughout. There was plenty of parking and the location was convenient. I only regret that I don't live close by to try more items on the menu. I'm willing to bet their chicken is fabulous. This was a very special lunch for me, the last one shared with my son before he get deployed to the Middle East in the Army. Thanks to the staff for making this a great experience. Highly recommended!”
