“The food truck is in the parking lot. Go past the food truck to what looks to be an old house that is on the water. After walking through a long hallway there is a handwritten sign with the menu on it. Continue further past there and you can either choose to sit inside or outside. There is a step to get outside that’s a little bit tricky. There is a helpful attendant who essentially is a food runner between the food truck and your table. When you pay, you pay at the food truck out front when you leave. They’re doing a great job of making do with what they have after hurricane Ida. We had the steak nachos which were made with fried egg roll wrappers instead of tortilla chips. The steak was the kind you would find on a cheesesteak sandwich. With fresh tomatoes and onions and a nacho cheese sauce they were delicious. It was a great place to have a afternoon snack and watch the boats. The restaurant was 1/2 to 2/3 full and it took about 10 minutes to get our food. Our server was exceptionally helpful. One star missing because they did the math wrong and tried to overcharge us.”

“Jan has a menu for every appetite! Food here is very delicious! It's what we call down the Bayou! The price is good hey the food is absolutely to die for! So treat yourself well. We had seafood platter today and it was very good! It has shrimp stuffed crab oyster and stuffed shrimp with fries! Great deal for the money! The gumbo was also delicious! Today I had chicken sausage gumbo. It was some of the best, that I have tasted! You won't be disappointed”
