“One or two weeks back, my throat became extremely sore. Being a terrible procrastinator who does whatever she can to avoid a doctor’s office, I talked myself into believing it would get better on its own. Well, two days later, I couldn’t even swallow my saliva without wincing- I had to see a doctor and I knew they’d get on to me for not coming in sooner because I was sure I had strep throat. I called around and managed to find an appointment- for the next day at one place. Then I was near the Walker North Oaks Walk-In Clinic, so I went there. There were already 2 people in the waiting room and it was about 4:23 pm. I figured I had a good wait- but I was put in the back in about 20 minutes, given a strep test, checked by Dr. St. Amant, told I was positive for strep, given after care instructions, told good-bye by Dr. St. Amant and sent on my merry way to my pharmacy for antibiotics. I loved that experience. I need to go ahead and say that HE AND HIS STAFF WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE AT 5:00 PM, AND STAYED TO TREAT ME AS WELL AS A GENTLEMAN THAT CAME IN A GOOD WHILE AFTER ME. So, when you get sick, just walk in and see them for a few.”
