“The location is within walking distance from my home. It allows for some exercise and the reward is a smoothie. The store is not very large so they allowed only 5 customers in at a time. The workers moved quickly to service the customers and the drinks were very good. Only issue was that I could not use a gift card while trying to order online. Possibly I did not see that option when time to pay.”

And on top of tht the officer ask u to move car instead of u moving car u run in the dept store to find me smh tragic!!! “The food was delicious & the atmosphere & weather was nice. The staff was mostly wearing masks the tables were spaced out. The layout of tge Restaurant is spacious & goes open to the outside balcony. The hostesses were nice. Our waitress was okay. We had asked for a couple of things that were missing, utensils & napkins a couple of times. And then had asked for butter for the crackers & she said would check on & never heard back & when we asked her again she said none available as they only had a large ball of it. Not sure what that meant but she could of came back & just let us know. The manager was very nice & had taken care of a misunderstanding at the end. The oysters were delicious & my favorite flavor was the Rockefeller. Their chargrilled looked delicious as well since my friends got that. The oyster prices were market price & kinda high but guess from the pandemic's affect was why. We also had the fried catfish & shrimp platter with fries & that was very good as well. Forgot to take a pic. The Bloody Mary's were spicy good too.?”

“Cute little place uptown!!! This is such a gem, great music, happy hour specials everyday with a great staff. You must try the blueberry margarita, it is flavorful and refreshing. The salsa is fresh and has an amazing flavor-spicy and sweet. The tortillas for the tacos have the loveliest crunch! Chicken street tacos are delish!! This is a cute little inexpensive spot with nice groovy energy for any time of day.”

“One of my favorite local bakeries. Everything I've had on their menu is bomb, the service is great. They really get to know their customers. I live across town so I don't go that often, yet they still remember me and my kiddo. Bonus points for that! Do yourself a favor, get a breakfast go cup in the morning, I recommend the bacon and egg with grits.”

“Have eaten here on several occasions. The food is good and they are very consistent, I always get a very fresh looking and tasting meal. I have received fortune cookies usually when the order is large, on single small orders I have not had fortune cookies. Which is fine, just wanted to point that out. They are quick, they accept cards and everything looks clean. You can see inside the kitchen from the counter and it all seems organized and sanitized. Their only down side is that they have a relatively small fridge and often they are out of some drinks or they are hot because they were recently placed. Will continue eating at Pekin.”

“From the door greet to the exit everything was exceptional. We originally sat outside but then it started raining so the server/hostess moved us to the chefs table. The Chef/owner Eric Cook was awesome! He had the best energy and was very interactive with us. The food was spectacular and he very much acknowledged my bday. “Always fire! They have the best sweet tea and chicken fingers with that sauce! Oh, and the bread of course! Just overall always a good experience. The staff is always nice and willing to help. Which for fast food seems to be hard to find. I go to this location often. The last time was the beginning of this pandemic. They had a line around the building. So I just parked and went inside and was in and out in less then 5 minutes. Now if I would of sat in line, it would have been significantly longer. Sometimes you have to go in places so your not just stuck in line for a hot sec. I definitely recommend this location. Seems to be pretty good at holding a steady quality food! “First time eating at Fritai with friends. One friend arrived prior to myself and others and tried the seafood pasta. She mentioned it was bland surprisingly. I ordered the chicken wrap with plaintain chips and wings, while a friend ordered the fish of the day (trout). The chicken wrap was wonderful, but the plaintain chips were not something I would order again. The wings were fine and did lack seasoning. I sampled my friend's fish, which was good. It sat on this cake looking dish that tasted as bad as the texture. I still do not know what it was. My friend did not eat it. She enjoyed the rice and beans. The service was great. The staff was very enthusiastic and answered all of our questions. If you are seeking a unique eatery, Fritai is a place to visit. It did, however, lack seasoning in the food.”
