The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that my check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Amy were also readily available throughout my stay to answer any questions I had. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. I appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful amenities provided, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, and a spacious balcony overlooking the marina. During my stay, I also took advantage of the area fishing charters, which were the ones that referral Amy's place to me. “Captain Cade of Runway Charters will put you on the fish. I have fished with lots of guides across the Gulf of Mexico and Runaway Charters is by far the very best for knowledge of the local fishery for both finding and catching fish. His knowledge and equipment is superior to any other guide services I have used. I am looking forward to my next trip with Captain Cade at the end of February. Best Captain fishing the Venice fishery now!!!”

“Have stayed here 3 times all fit a fishing trip. First year there was no fridge. Second year read fine. Just recently as 23 July 2021 the first room, a toilet was squeaking so loud even with the door closed you could hear it. Tried fixing it ourselves and didn't work. Would have to pull toilet handle up and jiggle it multiple times. Moved rooms and it was decent. Shower isn't great. But there is a store on the first level that has a little food and a lot of drinks and some shirts and hats. Has 2 fish cleaning stations and a place to hang your fish and take pictures. Can't get much better where it's located in my mind. Marina bar next door with great food and can cook your caught fish if you'd like. For what this place is DESIGNED for and it's LOCATION, devoutly 4 star. If this was in the city it would be a different story. Keep it real.”
