Vera’s Seafood Abita Springs

Ordered takeout of fried catfish and hush puppies. It was plenty enough for two. It was prepared perfectly. The included salad was no slouch - a nice surprise. Order was prepared quickly.

Vera’s Seafood in Abita Springs was great for dinner! The service was very friendly and quick. The food came out just as ordered and was super tasty! Highly recommend! 🙌🏽

Came here for lunch, driving through Louisiana. We ordered their lunch specials, catfish basket, shrimp basket and Vera's chicken. It comes with a side salad.

The table next to us recommended the gumbo but I was too full. Maybe next time.

This was a great first time experience. The food, value and service are worth the drive. The staff were friendly and food was excellent. The prices are very reasonable as well. We will be back to try more!

Great food and super friendly servers. Like most other businesses during these Covid times they’re suffering due to lack of help. We have loved our food and every visit except the fact that we had an “issue” and although we were understanding, Management never came out to address us. What further aggravated the situation was some obvious “regulars” who were sitting there trying to downplay the situation knowing full well if the same had happened to them it wouldn’t big such a small deal. Especially with the way the servers were also taken aback. We will return because we love the food but Management should have came and addressed us.
