“My doctor and her nurse suggested that I start filling my prescriptions at Genoa. As it turns out, they'll actually make monthly pill packs (no extra charge) and mail them to me. I don't drive as a result of a medical condition, so, it takes awhile to arrange transportation. My medications get to me quicker when they mail them. They won't let you go without your medication. If you're having trouble with your co-pays, they'll bill you. That's perfect for me since I'm on a fixed income. I've spoken to a couple of technicians and I can't express enough how pleasant they are. They transferred all of my prescriptions, and then called me to follow up and make sure it was done properly. I don't foresee myself going to another pharmacy, especially those big chain stores. No one appreciates being treated like a drug addict. Genoa won't do that to you or otherwise judge you by your prescribed medication.”

However every time we have needed to call the office to make or change an appointment or to ask a question about care etc, we have had to wait a minimum of 30 minutes to well over an hour on hold before the phone call is answered. Perhaps they need to hire someone to answer the phone even for an hour or two at a designated time. Or at least offer the opportunity to leave a message. Everyone doesn't have the time or opportunity to sit on hold.”
