“The ribeye and ribs were delicious along with the sides. Ribeye- tender, juicy and well-seasoned. The ribs were just about falling off the bone and had an unctuous barbecue sauce. The only thing that left me a bit flat was the chocolate doberge cake that was intended to have the consistency of a cake ball, which I thought was OK, but I would much rather a different chocolate dessert. The server was really great and it has a nice atmosphere. Looked like a slow night for them. Probably deserves a bit over 4 stars for what we had, but a busy night is a truer test, of course.”

“This was one of my best experiences at a waffle house… ever!!! not only was everyone friendly, but the coffee was hot and fresh , my waffles were fluffy and the food came out quickly. Cassie did a great job of making sure I had what I needed and one of the chefs even checked on me as he passed by to make sure everything was to my liking. The other notable quality of this particular restaurant was the teamwork. They all made sure that the full restaurant was being serviced, orders were in properly (three-way communication) and just a really good chemistry amongst the five members that I saw this awesome team. One lady took particular care with a veteran who came in and had some trouble speaking. She was so kind and patient and making sure he got exactly what he wanted for breakfast. Keep up the great work I will definitely be back when I am in town.”

This was my first time in and had no idea what to order. After a short conversation, where she asked a few key questions, she was able to direct me to a few choices on the menu. But told me if I wanted a good choice that would not disappoint I should try the shrimp platter that basically was a sampler of all the ways Don’s could fix shrimp. AND LAUREN WAS RIGHT it was absolutely phenomenal! I travel with my job and get tired of all the chain restaurants, and always look for local cuisine. Thank you for great food great service, and a wonderful waitress. Lauren is a total asset and she is what pushed my first time experience over the top. “Visited Don's Seafood for a post game meal with my boys. They really wanted Seafood and this seemed like the perfect place. The restaurant was pretty busy when we arrived but we were able to be seated quickly. The service was very fast and the waiter was very attentive. He started us off with delicious buttered bread. We ordered shrimp, fried catfish, and red beans and rice. Everything was prepared well. We enjoyed the meal and would definitely come back for another visit.”
