“BEST fast food you can get! This burger out beats any other fast food burger out there by a landslide...and honestly, most other sit down restaurants as well! The meat is good quality with a great taste. Did I mention they use whole pickle slices(yum)?!! They also know how to make the bacon crispy,(upon request) which apparently leaves other fast food restaurant employees scratching their heads, lol. I love that they went a different route by choosing shoestring fries as their side and then dust them with delicious seasoning rather than just salt and pepper. They're definitely a perfect complement to such a tasty burger 😋 ...Then, as if that's not enough and you're not already bursting at the seams, then you have the opportunity to order a hot fudge brownie sunday(add banana and strawberries)....OMG....where is the wheelbarrow to wheel me outta this place?? BTW this location is BY FAR the best location I've ever visited and that is mostly due to a gentleman named Mr. Eddie. My 3 year old had a really rough day at the doctor, so I brought him in for lunch and a Sunday to lift his spirits. Mr Eddie made sure that he did just that. From the moment we walked into the door, Mr Eddie went out of his way to greet us with a smile, explain the menu, make suggestions and complement my son smile. Then when we made our order for our Sunday, he made sure to make it extra special. He really made my son's day. We left with a fist bump, full bellies and big smiles thanks to Mr Eddie and Freddy's! We shall return!”

“The food truck is in the parking lot. Go past the food truck to what looks to be an old house that is on the water. After walking through a long hallway there is a handwritten sign with the menu on it. Continue further past there and you can either choose to sit inside or outside. There is a step to get outside that’s a little bit tricky. There is a helpful attendant who essentially is a food runner between the food truck and your table. When you pay, you pay at the food truck out front when you leave. They’re doing a great job of making do with what they have after hurricane Ida. We had the steak nachos which were made with fried egg roll wrappers instead of tortilla chips. The steak was the kind you would find on a cheesesteak sandwich. With fresh tomatoes and onions and a nacho cheese sauce they were delicious. It was a great place to have a afternoon snack and watch the boats. The restaurant was 1/2 to 2/3 full and it took about 10 minutes to get our food. Our server was exceptionally helpful. One star missing because they did the math wrong and tried to overcharge us.”

You WILL have PLENTY of leftovers to dream about until the next day. The drinks are stiff without the stiff price too. We met Giavanna (the owners daughter) who was very helpful with my menu choice… Do yourself a favor and order the Carmella (named after her sister) and order dessert even if it’s to go. As a home baker I can tell you I rarely order dessert because it’s something generic and premade. Here the cake layers are light & fluffy, fillings and frostings aren’t too sweet. “Always a great experience. The thin fried catfish is our go-to. The small is plenty but a large is also offered if you are particularly hungry. This visit I had the oysters and fish. The oysters are breaded with a simple breadcrumb and flash fried. There isn't much spice or taste to the breading for the oysters, in my opinion. Overall the food did not taste bad and it had a decent presentation. I think it was a bit on the pricey side for the amount of food you get and the overall taste. I’m thinking if a side came with it like fries or something it would have been a little more filling and or the price wouldn’t have seemed as bad. Overall it was not a horrible experience and I would return to this location. I was a bit disappointed when I found out there was not homemade sweet tea.”
