“Was recommended to come here when I couldn't find a unique shoulder bolt anywhere else. They didn't have it. Rather then sending me on my way the gentleman took the time to come up with an alternative solution for me. This saved me a lot of time. Definitely will be back whenever I'm in a similar situation.”

“I found this gem on maps while looking for a barber to cut my hair. They did a great job with a hair/beard trim. The building is very clean and they wore a face mask the whole time. I'll definitely be returning for future cuts. The owner has a bunch of experience and does good work.”

“I got my vehicle tint done a week ago. The owner was wonderful. I have a project car that I was taking care of, that I purchased as a shell. Built it from scratch 2000 Honda Crv. I brought my car in, it had a ton of glue on every window from previous tint removal poorly done. It was promptly removed, and replaced with a nice layer of dark tint. The owner was courteous, respectful , and did great work. Explained everything to me. It was so well done, that the next day I had my my wife's Impala done as well. Well done you guys. I will continue to sing your praises. LB, thank you Sir!”

“Also have to mention Chip showed me this really awesome art gallery in a little hallway cut. There is a beautiful collection of extremely American photographs and movie posters. It's right on the way to the office if you're staying in the back. It's probably a little hard to find. There's a really cool James Dean. There's a few Audrey Hepburns and my favorite is the first Marilyn Monroe closest to the office. There is also free coffee. Haha swear it's true. Ask the office.”

“Jay, from Armored Waterproofing, was the 3rd contractor I had at my house to find out where and why water was coming into my basement, causing my carpet to be wet, not everywhere, just in spots. To rule out a water pipe leak, I first contacted a Master Plumber. Strangely, he never bothered to look at any of the plumbing. However, this was partially my fault as I kind of insisted that the water on my carpeted basement floor was nowhere near water pipes. Although, wouldn't you think he would check anyway to rule that out? He recommended I contact a Waterproofing company. So the second contractor I called, a competing Waterproofing company, came by but he never bothered to look at the areas on the floor to see where the water was coming from. He pretty much had it in his mind to do an overall analysis of my basement concluding in a hour long presentation that cost 20K+ to fix the water coming into my basement. Of course I wanted a least a 2nd opinion on Waterproofing so I called Jay and thank God I did. He was the only contractor that helped me move my piano out of the way so we could pull up more carpet. Once we did that, he opened the access door on the wall to the main water valve (which was partially obscured by the piano). In less than a minute, we found that the reason my carpet was wet in various spots was caused by a pin hole leak on my main water line, located just below my water shut off valve. This slow leak was aimed straight down the inside of my wall, never hitting the wall itself. The water was soaked up by my carpet padding and spread the water to low areas of my basement, eventually showing up on top of my carpet in spots, not near water pipes. Morale of this story: always check your water pipes first for leaks, even though the pipes may not be near where your water is first appearing. And, ALWAYS, get at least 3 contractors to come and check things out before signing ANYTHING. Jay is the MAN, honest, trustworthy, you will not be sorry calling him to check out your basement water problems.”

“I'm based here so I'm biased. The FBO is efficient and friendly, inside staff and outside staff. They're also State employees and the airport is state run. This means the entire operation is working with a handicap, TBH. There's only so much a good staff can do to make up for the State's long-standing negligence of the aviation sector. It's gotten better with the latest administration, but it's still far from what we've seen at other airports in other states. Being state-run (in this state) also limits what can be done for/by the FBO and what can be done at the airport, in general. There are at least two flight schools here, some maintenance, and it's a good location for getting into Baltimore City. 4 stars because the essential equipment is well-maintained and the markings are always in good shape. We're lucky that we have a long, wide runway and an LDA IAP. Gas is surprisingly cost-competitive. The wash stand is free and so is compressed air. The ATC are super. Would be nice if the state would invest in bringing electrical power to the T-Hangars and would figure out a way to put a restaurant on the field. Also, nice if the per-night fee for light GA parking were lower. There's nearly zero demand for transient light GA parking, and the airport doesn't offer much incentive to come here, so the nightly fee seems high for what transients are getting. "We're cheaper than BWI" is not a great marketing pitch.”

“The new owner and his family are sweet good people! Lucky store for winning on scratch offs and draw tickets! I enjoy racetrack draws!???? I've also been in there MANY times n met MANY wonderful people from the area. I will go out of my way to go there instead of the stores right across the street just because of the atmosphere and the warmth/welcoming feel I get as soon as I enter the store! I don't do many reviews mainly cause either way I can ramble on lol but this store is worth my time!!!”
