I needed a cake done within a week after another baker ghosted me during the ordering process and I found Whimsy Cakes online. I requested the colors and flavors but left the look up to them because I'm a typical man with no creativity. Even though Whimsy Cakes said they could get it done, I was still a little leery because of the short turnaround. The cake came out better than I could even imagine or have anticipated! If I knew then what I know now I would have gone to Whimsy Cakes originally as everything from start to finish was easy and enjoyable. The ONLY thing better than the look of the cake was the taste. They are not only professional but personable as well. I will definitely be using them again, and again, and again!

Taneka is the best baker you'll ever meet! Her cakes are not only stunning, but they also taste fantastic! For the past five years, I've had cakes prepared for my birthday from Whimsy Cakes. Every year, I look forward to her baking my birthday cake! I wasn't feeling my birthday this year, but babyyyy after I saw my cake, my day was beyond made! She is without a doubt one of the nicest persons I've ever met. Her unique personality is unrivaled!

Purchase these cupcakes for my son’s birthday for 11/26. They were AMAZING, he wanted three flavors , the snickerdoodle swirl , banana pudding,, and the apple caramel. This baker is definitely the truth!!!

Amazing experience with Whimsy Cakes! They really went above and beyond to ensure my wedding cake was very special! The cake was not only goregous, it was the best cake I have ever tasted! Whimsy Cakes By WDE!! Is the best!! Our wedding cake was amazing!!!! My husband and I loved it. Taneka the owner's attention to detail when designing custom cakes is absolutely breath taking. I am a frequent customer and have tried almost every flavor cupcake. The cupcakes are so moist and taste so delicious, definitely the best and not to mention I always receive a whimsical experience as she has the most sweetest personality.
