Self service is a big component for them: get your own glass, your own beer, pick up your food from the window. This is not bad or good, merely the way that it is for B.C. “Great lunchtime spot! Unassuming location, truly down a side street but once you're inside you learn the exterior truly belies the warm artful restaurant with friendly family run staff and a nice variety of food. I myself got the reuben sandwich which was plenty good, but others were getting the kebab platters, a family specialty apparently, and they looked amazing. Will be returning just for that.”

“It's true what they say. Hogs do smell best barbecued. Had the brisket jumbo with corn bread, coleslaw, and an Arnold Palmer. So delicious. Had a hard time deciding which table sauce tasted best (pork dip - a seasoned vinegar, a mustard sauce, and a brown tangy molasses flavored sauce) so I used all three!!! The dining area feels like a summertime screened-in porch. The people there on the day I went were spontaneously happy and willing to share their spare chairs at a four-top with people they've never met before. It was pretty amazing. If you know what's good, get to Andy Nelson's!! Wooo!”

“Excellent food! I ordered the tongue tacos, a pupusa revulta, and a paella. Oh wow!!!! I have been to other places with Spanish food, but this one is the best. I was reading the bad reviews but my experience was the opposite of them. My food order took about 30 minutes but the waiting time is worth it. Food tastes fresh!!!! KEEP BEING HERE so I can come back again!!!”

“Went here for lunch. Had a great server, great food and had enough for a second meal. I ordered a lunch special of shrimp & scallops over pasta; the shrimp and scallops were large and plump. There was a generous amount of seafood and the sauce was very good. They have a nice wine selection. They lunch special came with soup or a salad, 2 sides and the main meal, for a good price.”

“We had just driven from Atlanta and searched local seafood restaurants and found this place. We were ready to just sit down and eat, but realized it was a take-out only place. This caused a bit of apprehension, but we decided to be adventurous. We went in and ordered the platter, we couldn't help but notice the crowd of locals coming and going to get their orders to-go. This definitely eased any concerns and their were no regreats. We ate in our minivan, shovelling down the mountain of delicious seafood. It was one of the best seafood places we've been to and can't wait to visit again next time we're in town!”

“This place is worthy of a review. I just had to leave this here. (Thank you, Masala Pot) The food was not only excellent, it was beyond what I had expected considering I have tried multiple Indian restaurants all over town. Masala Pot has also a wide variety of choices and great quality at that. They don't sacrifice or cut back on the cost for quality either. It's definitely at a great price for what you are getting. I highly recommend Masala Pot and their service and staff are always really friendly as well. If you like Indian food, this is one place you have to go to. You will love it! :) -Keken”
