“Indoor pool and spa in the winter.... very nice. They also have a really good breakfast that offers different kinds of meat instead of just pork. Pancake machine is pretty cool also. The room was clean and a good size. I also saw no evidence of bedbugs which is always a great thing.”

“Stayed here while attending a wedding down the street. Host were very accommodating and pleasant. Shared with us at breakfast about the history of the house and the many presidents that stayed under its roof. Wasn't estacic about the breakfast choice, and the limited channel selection on the TV was kind of annoying but we weren't I'm the room all that much so it was OK. Other than that, room was clean and well kept and the bathroom was recently renovated so that was really nice too.”

“My wife and I spent our anniversary here. While the weather outside was cold and rainy we were able to control the temp in the Kent room and keep it nice and comfortable. The breakfast was top notch each morning. And they really catered to my wife who is vegan. In the afternoons when we came back from excursions in town they would have hot Apple cider and cookies waiting for us which was a very nice touch. Overall an A+ for hospitality!”

“I loved the resort. It is a huge area and I love how there is a Walmart and gas station RIGHT outside of the property. From what I could tell, there was a good amount of parking on the area. You feel almost like you are the only person in the resort until you go into the lobby which is an open-floor concept with a beautiful view. It does NOT feel like you are still in Maryland. I went with my church group for a conference and would go again as many times as I could just for the atmosphere. They catered the event and the food was delicious with some variety. The only thing I have about the hotel that I was iffy about was about a couple of questionable stains on my comforter in the bed. Also, when in the hall that the conference was held, the silverware/napkins had a few stains on them as well. Other than that, the staff was very efficient and some of the most exciting and personable people I've interacted with.”

“This was a random choice due to location to water. What a treasure ! The Inn Keepers aim to please , you feel like royalty. The house is a well maintained Victorian furnished to reflect "Old world charm " , with all the modern necessities. Breakfast was exquisite and very palatable . Skip n Jenny are very knowledgeable of surrounding area and eager to help you explore , weather it be dining, sport , or relaxation. They are wonderful conversationalists but let you take the lead. Skip even ventured to where we were dining to hand deliver the discount he promised for the establishment we had chosen to dine at ! They have turned B&B into a fine art , reminiscent of the " old world charm " they have created in their beautiful home.”

“This will be the 4th year my wife & I have stayed with the innkeeper Lynnette. A beautiful Victorian house full of antiques. Breakfast is always a pleasant surprise & evenings on the veranda leave memories that are not soon forgotten.”
