“I've only been here twice but will definitely be coming back. The first time I had the honey barbecue wings and an order of the beer batter fried onion rings. The wings were huge and the sauce was the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. The onion rings were crisp and very flavorful. The next time I went, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, medium rare, with french fries. Both the burger and the fries were the best I have had in a long time. The burger was perfectly cooked, and was a thick patty. The meat is local, bought from a butcher shop, I think in Mt. Airy. There was no aftertaste, only a pure taste of hamburger meat. The bacon was perfect - so many times bacon on a cheeseburger will either be limp and greasy or burnt. The bacon was perfectly crisp without being overdone. The fries were obviously fresh cut and were also perfect, not too greasy, and not cooked to the point of being burnt. Both times when I went (first at dinner, first at lunch), there was either no one or very few other customers there, which is a shame. The food is great and the prices very reasonable. I just hope that business picks up for them.”
