“This park has just about everything, plenty of swings, merry go round, rock climb boulders, and other newer equipment as shown in the pictures. Large field areas. There is also a basketball court and baseball diamond. There are picnic tables and restrooms but the doors to the restrooms are usually locked.”

“Nice history lesson for the kids. They can play with old toys and dollhouse. Loved all the authentic historic pieces they've collected in the kitchen. You can take a guided tour or self guided. Loved the carriage barn and the ice house. The blacksmith shop is not always part of the tour, but it was this day. Really enjoyed it. The grounds and gardens were a little messy, probably due to so much rain. Will take the children there again.”

“This is a great little gem hidden in the middle of Frederick. It's a great museum about life in revolutionary and pre-civil war Frederick. Its great for kids and has a ton of toys and other items for them to play with. We went late in the season and got a personal tour since we were the only people there. They also have various events through the summer, which sounded fun, although we didn't get to experience them.”

“Nice little park along Carroll Creek with ample parking, play equipment, a baseball field, a second sports field and a wooded area with a lot of birds and other wildlife.”

“Nice park. Parking lot was small and pretty far away from the main part of the park. There was street parking in close by neighborhoods but that meant walking a bit while carrying chairs and sports equipment. Overall, a very nice park.”

“This is a wonderful gathering of souls for music and camaraderie. A family-friendly group that meets here every Tuesday evening from 7pm-10pm during the months it is warm enough (roughly May through September). All skill levels are welcome, just walk on up and join the jams, or sit and relax with us. There are always extra noise makers and a few extra drums.”
