Dr. Conger cares. It begins and ends right there. He cares about you as a person, about all aspects of your health, physical and mental. Feel very lucky that I found him 10 years ago.

Dr Conger is very friendly and has a great amount of experience in internal medicine. Although some people have mentioned that they've had to wait to see the doctor, his practice is VERY busy and Dr Conger takes his time to make sure all of your questions are answered, but, more importantly, that you are diagnosed correctly and given the medications and other things needed for you to get better. He is one of the best physicians I've ever met and I recommend him highly!

I agree 100% with Terri Norris. My situation is almost identical. I moved away from Columbia and drive a farther distance so that I can keep Dr. Conger as my primary care physician. I also get annoyed with long waits, and it can be frustrating at times but I won't change doctors. Dr. Conger is the best that I have found.

After reading Tammy’s comments, I was compelled to post. First, please let me provide some background. I read Google reviews often but I believe this is my second post. Approximately 17 years ago, I became a patient of Dr. Bruce Conger. About 10 years ago, I relocated approx. 45 miles from the Columbia office. All of my doctors were changed to the Northern Virginia area besides Dr. Bruce Conger. As of today, I still travel to Columbia, Maryland for my doctor’s visits with Dr. Conger. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, committed, understanding, compassionate, readily available, and more. He makes me feel like he cares about my health. I have had some bad experiences with other doctors (no blood work after many visits over a year, a wrong diagnose, nasty administrative service and more). An elderly lady once told me, I will never find the perfect person or service. At my age, I should know what is important to me then make my decisions on that basis. This is one of the reasons why I continue to be a patient of Dr. Conger.

I do understand your frustration from waiting because I have experienced a long wait a few times myself and I can be impatient at times. However, with all the about mentioned attributes, warm administrative staff, I continue to wait for Dr. Conger, if necessary. I normally schedule my appointments with ample allotted time, talk to the staff, or bring things to do.

Ms. Tammy this post is not a war of words this is a patient that is sharing thoughts and experiences. Thank you
