Dr. Poblete will listen to your symptoms and order the appropriate blood work, tests, imagining or help you find the proper specialist. My husband and I have seen him for over a decade. He appropriately tracked us through two major life threatening situations/diagnoses. From my experience, during my second pregnancy, I had abnormal symptoms. My OBGYN chalked my symptoms up to, "just a part of being pregnant." So I went to Dr. Poblete with my concerns, he heard me out and followed through in an actionable way. He tracked my blood pressure and blood work for me that I was able to then share with a high risk pregnancy specialist. Dr. Poblete was the first doctor who would hear me during what was one of the most life threatening conditions a pregnant woman could face. He advocated for my care and the care of my unborn when my OBGYN failed to do so. Both my child and myself survived the condition and I owe alot to the docs who LISTENED to a mother who knew in her soul something was wrong. He also tracked my pressure and blood work after the pregnancy to make sure I was returning to normal values.

Dr. Pio Poblete is an absolute professional. We (my family) have been really searching for a great Primary Care Physician In Columbia, MD for a long time. Dr. Poblete came highly recommended from another well trusted specialist. From the get go, this is my down to earth honest opinion about Dr. Poblete. Dr. Poblete is extremely caring, loving, and compassionate. He does NOT rush his patients as many other doctors do. He listens to you and your health complaints and concerns very carefully. He really spends his valuable time (up to an hour and never looks at his watch) with patients without rushing you. Of course, Dr. Poblete does not smile as often as you like or chit chat as other money centric doctors do. While Dr. Poblete is looking down, he is actually listening to everything you are saying to him. I can personally vouch that Dr. Poblete absolutely cares and is a well trained compassionate physician under the Johns Hopkins Hospital umbrella. Dr. Poblete, after carefully listening to my symptoms, rushed me to the ER and saved my life from a mass heart attack. Today I am alive primarily because of my God and Doctor Poblete. I could really see his compassion, concerns, and care in his eyes as he rushed me to the ER. For me Dr. Poblete is a God sent guardian angel. He is a miracle worker. Any day at any time, I will trust mine and my family’s lives in the blessed hands of Dr. Poblete. I am kind of shocked at the reviews here that are negative. I have been a patient of Dr Poblete for about 15 years or so, and have always had a good experience. I didn't find my visits rushed, and he does a good job of coordinating treatment with the cardiac care doctor the practice is associated with. I have always had a good experience with the nurses and office staff too, and I have been in the office many times. I would recommend Dr Poblete and the practice.
