Love my doctor who saw my mom and grandma and who also takes care of my husband. I hope he never retires. Sometimes the wait is toooo long :-/ but you always feel like you are cared about and listened to.

Excellent care and diagnosing. Thorough. Long wait sometimes.

As a long-time patient of Dr. Diener's, and as a retired NIH scientist who has worked for decades with world-class physicians and scientists from all over the planet, I testify that primary health care does not get any better than this. Top-shelf medical practice. I am very fortunate to be Dr. Diener's patient.

Dr. Diener has been our primary physician for more years than I can remember. He is absolutely outstanding. A wonderful manner, listens to patient descriptions of ailments attentively, recommends additional tests or procedures as appropriate, but will also tell the patient when he believes a wait and see attitude for an ill is what will probably be the best course. Asks about yearly flu vaccinations and other shots, whether I've visited specialists I see recently, whether I've had recommendd procedures performed. Dr. Diener and the practice he is associated with will recommend good specialists inside or outside their group when a specialist is needed. These specialists have always been in the Columbia area, and in my experience have always been very good physicians.

Dr. Diener is one of the brightest, congenial, knowledgable and caring primary care physicians I have ever had in my lifetime. It is no understatement to say that his insights are life-saving. On average, reception staff has been in the top 25% of doctor's staff's with whom I have dealt.
