“This is a hidden gem located in the old Pizza Hut. My friend and I shared birria tacos, sopa de birria and the tacos dorados. The sopas pair really well with the crispy dorados. The broth itself was very rich in flavor and you can tell all of the meat juicys were marinating in it for hours. The birria tacos packed plenty of flavor and the tacos dipped in the consume were perfect. The staff here were really friendly. Highly recommend this spot if you want some quality Mexican food. I'll definitely be back to try their other taco specials and dinner items.”

This restaurant’s decor really is a whole vibe and the music is great. The staff are pleasant and the food comes out hot. I had the crab hash and I ordered a biscuit and eggs on the side because sis was a little hungry. The margarita mimosas get you where you need to be. 1, 2, 3 and you’re good to go! I’ve been a few times since they’ve opened and they’ve been consistently good. Prices are reasonable for quality of food. I definitely recommend. The DMV is infamous for brunch so add it to your list! My girls and I were all smiles when we left.”

“Went here today and we had the chicken and whiting combo and the shrimp and whiting comb, mac and cheese, collard greens and potato salad and the banana pudding. The collards and the potato salad were sweet to me and the mac and cheese tasted as if it had Lawry's in it. Now if you come from a household that seasons their noodles for mac and cheese I'm not accustomed to that but it's probably going to taste good to you. The banana pudding was alright, it reminded me of eating cake batter taste wise. The consistency was whipped and light, not so much a pudding and I appreciated that. All in all, 4 out of 5 stars and I would go back.”

For February, Black History Month I'm supporting all types of Black-owned businesses (especially restaurants.) Of course, they didn't disappoint. After 3 days it lasted, all the food. I bought $70 dollars worth including a tip. The cheesesteak, peach lemonade, 2 wraps (General Tso and Chipotle), three sides of fries (each main came with a choice of side), and 🍤 fried shrimp I'd say it was a good buy. The oxtail was flavorful and tender! The rice was soft and moist. The plantain was not like mom's, it was tough and dry and the cabbage needed seasoning. Despite the 2 out of 4, I will still go back and get it again because the oxtail was that good!”
