“Awesome infrastructure, fantastic staff. Beauty spot. Very well-maintained campsites for renters and RVs. Very nice restrooms, w hot showers. Kayak and canoe rentals available, which allow fantastic exploration of the marsh that makes up much of the State Park. Great store for camping supplies, and an excellent recreation/education room with displays of the local wildlife, games, books, and an indoor snack/dining room. All air-conditioned for the really hot days where your tent is just too hot. Almost every campsite is well-shaded, but it can still get hot. Nice fire pits for each site. Everything about this state park is wonderful.”
