“Being a little generous. I feel like 3.5 stars is about right, but that isn't an option. I believe this location is relatively new, so I hope they will improve. The chicken was tasty, but I wish there would have been some more heat. The rice was unremarkable, and so were the veggies. Overhaul the sides and dial up the heat of the chicken, and I think this place would be in pretty good shape. Will definitely try again some time down the road.”

“A local establishment that has a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming environment. Even though it's not a huge menu, the selections are varied, and the dessert and bakery items are wonderful, a wide variety to choose from as well. The bean salad as a side was absolutely delicious! The staff was really friendly and accommodating, they were quick to bus our table when we were done eating. They have a lot of different flavored syrups to choose from too if you're into that kind of thing (I had some in my green tea and it was delicious). The only complaint is that they don't have recycling available.”

But, they're not really what I'd consider a sit down sort of restaurant. That being said, the food was well prepared, most generous in proportion, and the cost was quite affordable. I actually spoke to the owner when I was done enjoying a meal on the beach side with the water less than 2 feet from my feet . My server was exceptional he made sure that every concern was answered and every bit of my meal was perfect or I would like to say spot on . After my dinner speaking to the owner she was so lovely I could not convey the happiness that me and my date had from her establishment I encourage you please visit this restaurant it is phenomenal exceptionally profound.”

My recent visits were at slack times with no other customers in the store or at the window, and when my food was delivered, both times it was shoved at me, with no comment or smile. “Overall, a good place to eat. Because of their primary demographic, Sundays are always packed in the fall and winter. Service runs a little slow during peak hours which is not unexpected. Food is decent but McDonald's has better portion to price sizes when it comes to French fries and they're already at a 1200% mark up. They seem to run out of Loose Cannon beer constantly. For a restaurant you want to spend 45 min to an hour in on a weeknight and spend $15 per person it's ok to decent. It just doesn't blow me away. Still good food. Just not great.”

Salsas has forever been a favorite with my family and will continue to be for a long long time, we frequent Salsas on a somewhat regular basis and have never been disappointed, the food is always hot, flavorful, and darn good! Very friendly staff (who are so friendly we now know them as friends), lively and cozy atmosphere, with great staff good and always brilliant food. P.S. I have seen multiple reviews with people complaining about the meat being "overcooked" or "bland" and please rest assured, with quite a few visits and orders placed, I have never had this issue. I have always gone for the same meal (Arroz Texano) and have never been dissatisfied!”
