“Great home away from home. Food is great! Didn't get into the water, but, as an avid health nut, the gym equipment selection is terrible. Some treadmills/elliptical, a few weights (with no room to use it), and... That's it. Needs a total body system. Most 1-2 star hotels have them. Other than that, it is a great experience”

“Thanks to the manager Julie--who personally booked our rooms after we had an emergency flood in our home--we had one of the best hotel stays of our life. The hotel itself is fantastic--rooms are very clean and spacious, beds are comfortable, they are pet friendly, and they provide a lovely breakfast every morning. We were given adjoining rooms so I could be next door to my elderly mother. The doors to the rooms are inside the hotel, not external like some other places. This, along with the fact that anyone entering has to get buzzed in at night--made us feel very secure. After we had an awful experience at another motel in the area, coming to the Super 8 was like a dream. We were actually sad when it came time to leave, because we were so comfortable there. Amazing customer service and quality of the hotel. I highly recommend this specific location of Super 8 for anyone staying in the Hagerstown area.”

“Great place. I visit my parents who live there about once a week and everyone is so friendly that I encounter. Plus my parents live all the way in the back and it's super quite. A great place for a family or a single family to live.”

“Elmwood is absolutely worth visiting for an event and/or staying overnight. From the warm welcoming of the outside farm cats to the gracious hostesses Selena and Lettie will certainly make you feel at home. Their b&b is clean, spacious, serene, and cozy. It was a very peaceful environment with beautiful views which added to the relaxing stay. They are from the area and would be able to recommend many activities & restaurants to suite your fancy. Samples of refreshing soaps and lotions were available in the room that Selena crafts. Coffee and hot tea were available at anytime. Breakfast was delicious with a savory crepe flavored perfectly with every bite and a sweet crepe that was divine with their special ginger sauce. We had an unexpected heavy snowfall in the morning in which Selena plowed us out of the driveway and down the road to make sure we were departing safely. Lettie had even cleaned off our car before we came out to load our luggage. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about our stay and events we had attended in the past. This is a must stay for anyone who is looking for a b&b where you will be able to relax and enjoy every minute. Thank you both again for your thoughtful and generous kindness during our stay.”

“Staff was great, when we checked in, thank you so much ladies you made our stay wonderful. Room was very clean, along with the spacious size of the room we had. Breakfast area was clean and the food was very tasty. This breakfast bar had so many different choices of items to enjoy. Want to thank all the staff for what they do, and made this weekend stay enjoyable. This was our first time staying at Springhill suites in Hagerstown Maryland. We will be back in the future.”

“This is my third visit here. I'm in the area for work for a few days at a time and this is the hotel my company chose for me. The rooms are nice and the free breakfast (located in the adjacent restaurant) is maybe a bit limited but it is free, so I can't complain too much :) I find the beds very comfortable and while there are not exactly scenic views, it's close to a LOT of shopping and dining options. The staff is very friendly and while I don't take much advantage of housekeeping, they do a nice job. Since I'm here for approximately a week at a time, I'd much prefer a bigger and updated fridge--maybe one that's not in the bathroom, and doesn't tend to freeze my complimentary water bottles into slush if I'm not careful to check its temp).”

“I was booked here for 2 weeks by my new job. Breakfast was prepared every morning, and there's even a pool and hot tub. Very easy to find on and off the highways. The staff is extremely helpful and answers any questions, or deals with any problems that might arise. Bonus... There are plenty of great options to eat all within walking distance.”

“Absolutely fantastic. We loved the location. We loved the staff. We loved the activities they provided. We loved the pricing. We will definitely be making this a yearly family trip. Their water park is perfect for children and adults. They also have a little convenience store and small cafe.”

“Nice camp site easy access from Taylor's Landing. Great view of the river However if you are coming in from the water the bank is very steep and and about a 15 foot climb, bring a length of rope i.e. throw bag to help pull your water craft up.”

“This was a lovely place to stay. Kathy could not have been more gracious - her breakfast was spectacular and it didn't stop there - there were wonderful homemade snacks, the patio for breakfast had a magnificent view, her gardens are beautiful, the room was lovely. I had a wonderful time, and she is a wealth of knowledge about seemingly everything, very much including nearby Civil War sites, which I was here to check out, hikes, shopping... her restaurant recommendations were excellent. A fun addition is her expertise in teaching shiatsu facials to do yourself, and the opportunity to try on wonderful organic facial products which I greatly enjoyed. Highly recommend!”

“Nice place. The Hosts have ," thought of everything" and stocked with all the kitchen, household, etc comforts so that you can cook, relax, enjoy. I do not know how it could accommodate more than 2 upstairs in the same bed and 3 in the most basement?”

“This a great biker campsite close to the river. I can't comment on the bugginess since I have not been here during the summer, but it seems really nice. There is a portapotty, fire ring, picnic table, and a fair amount of flat ground for a tent. The water pump is missing it's lever and does not work.”

“Nice room, close to interstate. Thankfully also close to McDonald's since the coffee is terrible (dispensed from a machine so maybe instant). That's really my only complaint, the staff are nice and the facility is good.”
