“I had Mission BBQ for the first time during a family event back in October 2021. My sister and I noticed the location in Gambrills MD and decided to stop for lunch. Best decision I’ve ever made! We were greeted by the cashier, Adeline. She was so patient and assisted us with exploring the menu options. I had the pulled pork sandwich (well seasoned), Mac and cheese, and baked beans. My sister had the brisket (so tender), fries, and cornbread. YUMMYYYY! A member from the team, Thomas, was such a joy! He greeted us and made us feel at home with his warm welcome/ hospitality! He was so kind and treated us to welcome dessert of the very delicious chocolate pudding. We will be coming back! The best food and atmosphere. Well worth the visit.”

This restaurant’s decor really is a whole vibe and the music is great. The staff are pleasant and the food comes out hot. I had the crab hash and I ordered a biscuit and eggs on the side because sis was a little hungry. The margarita mimosas get you where you need to be. 1, 2, 3 and you’re good to go! I’ve been a few times since they’ve opened and they’ve been consistently good. Prices are reasonable for quality of food. I definitely recommend. The DMV is infamous for brunch so add it to your list! My girls and I were all smiles when we left.”

“Went here today and we had the chicken and whiting combo and the shrimp and whiting comb, mac and cheese, collard greens and potato salad and the banana pudding. The collards and the potato salad were sweet to me and the mac and cheese tasted as if it had Lawry's in it. Now if you come from a household that seasons their noodles for mac and cheese I'm not accustomed to that but it's probably going to taste good to you. The banana pudding was alright, it reminded me of eating cake batter taste wise. The consistency was whipped and light, not so much a pudding and I appreciated that. All in all, 4 out of 5 stars and I would go back.”

I ended up trying what was recommended which was E1, Collagen Beauty. I was pretty good and refreshing, yet a little tart with collagen jelly which i thought was ice. I also tried a tuna sandwich. “Went here for a late lunch with a friend. The place was completely empty. While it is definitely a hole in the wall type spot, the food and drinks were great! Margaritas were large and delicious for $10. I got the beef quesadilla and my friend got chicken tacos. We thought they were both delicious and far better than any chain restaurant. Our server was also lovely and attentive. I would definitely recommend giving this little spot a try. FYI: There is no parking lot, but plenty of street parking across the street or around the corner.”

The food overall is good The fish and ships was good ! I had better before in size and fish, but this one was not bad at all. I asked for corn and after I left I remembered I didn’t get it ! And don’t remember if I paid for it or no! Next time will remind them The price in general in also good! Not expensive as other crab places that will over charge you. Maybe everyone is wearing close to the same size and getting there before me 🤷🏾♀️. But the dresses have been in such a disarray it makes it harder to search. Made to order dishes are going to take longer than fast food places so be prepared to wait and enjoy the crackling of the charcoal roasting those chickens jaja.
