“Was able to get a reservation sort of last minute for my birthday and I’m so glad I was able to! This was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I love how everything is farm to table and the menu changes daily, such a fun twist. I got the bucatini with lobster and it was unreal, with such a generous portion of fresh lobster. Yes, it is a little pricey but it’s not overpriced for the quality of food & amount that you’re getting. My only slight complaint is that it was a little dark at night and my mom couldn’t see that well, but that didn’t take away from the amazing dining experience we had. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Gloucester!”

“Very cute sandwich counter with satisfying food. They feed you well with their concise menu. Loved the salad bar and kale soup with my haddock sandwich. They dont make you choose between fries or onion rings and offer both with their sandwiches.”

“Getting to watch the sunset over the water adds to the ambiance of this adorable little spot. Their crowning achievement is the best chicken wings ever! Normally chicken wings are so saucy and greasy that you need a bib to protect yourself. These chicken wings have a Mediterranean flair, dressed in fresh herbs, tomato and garlic and were perfectly cooked. I know they are known for seafood but I thought our fish was just okay. Perhaps I need to return for another sangria on the water to find their seafood masterpiece”

“What an oasis in a sea of blah, so-so restaurants today….the owners were hands on, super friendly and so hospitable. We felt at home the minute we arrived - Jack, one of the owners, was bartending and was quite entertaining on his own - think Sam at Cheers, but funnier. And the chef/owner Pat came out and we were able to visit ”

“The best upscale (but not stuffy at all) restaurant on the whole North shore! Food is phenomenal and the wonderful service is supper friendly and warm. You can order 1/2 portions of the entrees so you can try a couple of things. It’s been closed since Covid but we are waiting for it to open its doors again. The new sign says Duckworth’s (without the “Bistrot”) so we’re excited to see what it will become.”

“Pretty good food all around. It's stuff made fast, and to go. Things can get a bit greasy, but it's not overly expensive, it's hot, and it's reliable and tasty takeout. You get what you expect when you order here, and you get it fast. Is it the finest cuisine in the world? No. Is it worth the money for the convenience? Absolutely. Place an order, you'll be pleased and pleasantly full.”

“Had an AMAZING Barre Flow class with Sari this morning! She is such an energetic and fun teacher. We really worked out our whole bodies but it wasn't too intense that it killed me. I would highly recommend this class and will attend it again when I'm in town.”

“Very generous portions! This fed our family of four for two nights. The Japanese (sushi) menu wasn't available so we ordered from the Chinese menu but everything was excellent. We ordered delivery, which was prompt and easy. The person taking our order on the phone was also super friendly and recommended dishes for our kids. Highly recommend!”

“OMG - best Italian food I've ever had. I ate dishes I thought I would never have. There were eight of us. We enjoyed a few before main course appetizers. The baby octopus - unbelievable. The grilled calamari - awesome. I'm not a sea food person so I took one of each because I knew I wasn't going to like it. I went back in for seconds. Everything, appetizers, main course and desserts were AWESOME. Highly, highly recommend. Worth the price. I will go again.”

“Lobster Mac & Cheese was so good! Best I've had in awhile. Sauce tasted like a light lobster bisque as it should. 10/10. Meant to grab a photo of it but will have to stop by again!”

“I had stayed at the Atlantis a few years a go and loved it. I grew up in Gloucester and live in MD now. My husband is almost 80 and hasn't travelled anywhere in 10 years, but wanted to see my hometown. I managed to book a wonderful mid-level room with ocean view and we came up Oct. 9, 2019, and left on Oct. 12. The room was perfect, as was the view. We have always loved the wonderful Atlantis Cafe for breakfast. Food and service are always excellent. But the staff at the front desk were nothing short of awesome! Every single person. They went out of their way to recommend good places to eat, print out our boarding pass, get us good directions to the airport. They helped graciously and kindly with everything we asked. And they managed to stage a Nor'easter for us to boot. My husband was impressed with the size of the waves across the street. EXCELLENT JOB, ATLANTIS! We will definitely be back! And thank you.”

“One of the best pizza I have eaten in a long time. They only open from 4:00pm and you have to order about 30mn in advance, they only have one size which make about 8 slices. We ordered 3 pies for 5 people, a vegetarian, pepperoni and cheese and the Delaney's Special which pretty much all-dressed and probably 10 000 calories ???????? but so tasty and awesome. Sorry for the pics, we couldn't wait to get started.”

“My friend Jeanne had us meet for drinks a few weeks ago. I think the place is great. The people are so friendly and welcoming. A great place to meet new people. My next trip back l will definitely be back. Most people are looking for that friendly atmosphere. It's not the Ritz, but my kind of place . The only name I remember is a very funny guy we met named squiggy and a good friend of Jeanne's named Mariah who was very nice any many others. We will be back to visit the bar for sure. ????????”

“One of our family’s go-to for takeout. Great burgers. Sad to see that they are temporarily closed due to plumbing issues, a message on the answering machine would have been nice (we drove by because no one was answering the phone).”

“Gloucester House for lunch was delicious. We started with the fried clams to share at the table followed by a crock of clam chowder. We ordered Lobster rolls we (one of each hot or cold to share). Everything was prepared perfectly and our service was excellent! Sit out on the bench for a water view.”

“Simple street food done very very well. We stopped into Gloucester for a quick walk on the beach and made our way around to the town. With the large selection of food available, we decided to sit by the water, on the dock and have some food. We were blown away by the seafood, the buns are so so, same as everywhere else, but the lobster in the roll was fabulous. The chowder was as good, if not better, than most places in the large area ! Definitely worth a stop.”

“I went to first time that place , everything amazing. We came for the visit that area after we check the google for dinner restaurant. Very peaceful view we watched the sunset during the dinner. Food was very delicious. Scallop, shrimp taco, lobster pancake I ordered . Only service was very slow because it was very crowded. It was really great night for me and my friends . Thank you ????????”
