“Willows, dales and mills - this reservation has it all. Dog friendly, which is nice. Follows the river on relatively flat terrain. Easy to cross into the maze of the larger park trail system, best to bring a charged phone. The bridge on the access road is in need of repair so take it slowly.”

“As a former student of Gordon College, I always enjoyed walking in these woods. The trails are kept clean, and they are all clearly marked. It's quite a gorgeous set of woods. On parts that the college owns, they require dogs be on a leash.”

“Hidden gem of the North Shore, but one star off for the name [Google this guy-might as well call it Ray Donovan Reserve]. Willow Hill is a must visit offering stellar vistas in all directions. The signage is first rate unless you head West for the "scenic bridge". Things get a little wild westish on the other side of Sagamore Street. The causeway at Miles River is worth the trek, but there is nothing "scenic" about the bridge itself.”

“Firstly the negatives. Parking is fairly suspect, but Cutler Road has little traffic. Beaver activity is underwhelming and the skeptical visitor might think they’re being ‘controlled’ in some fashion. On the brighter side the trails are all well maintained. The eskers are probably the best I know of. Decidedly horse country as the wider paths are silly with jumping obstacles. A little too shoehorned into the landed gentry set to feel like you’re in the wild.”

“An amazing playground with ample space for many kids to run and have fun. Great equipment, basketball and tennis courts, bathrooms and a pond!”
