(January 8, 2019, 5:45 pm)It's a fun place to explore with kids. I've only been in the off-season. There is a good playground, trails around the island, old bunkers, a small beach, a small lighthouse, an abandoned coast guard building, an old hangar, and boats. It's easy to spend about 2 hours exploring with kids.
(December 9, 2018, 9:34 am)Very good place by the sea. Ample benches to relax and watch sea. A lighthouse provides perfect backdrop for photos. Access to sea beach.
(November 30, 2018, 9:54 am)I love the little beach, it’s a great place to have a picnic or camp if you’re not looking to go to far from home. The water is clean, and the shore a bit rocky. It’s close to the weaker willows, so there’s ice cream, seafood and a bit of fun around the corner. My dad and I take kayaks out there sometimes too. I love the bay of sailboats and the sea air. I do wish they had more kayak storage. I’ve been trying to get a spot down there for a long time now.
(October 21, 2018, 1:21 pm)Amazing park. Great for camping and Rvs, one mile from everything in Salem. We used the ferry into Boston it was a great time. We will return! The waterfront sites are very nice!
(October 5, 2018, 9:27 pm)Just to sit there and watch the geese, birds and other wildlife is amazing. Very, very relaxing watching the water and the quietness. Would not go anywhere else. Love this place.
