“We stayed here as part of our trip throughout New England and I'm so happy that we did! This B&B set the standard for the rest of the trip. Checking in was easy and there is free private parking for the B&B. All of Salem is within walking distance too! The room was immaculately clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable also. The sheets were so soft, we actually looked them up to purchase once we got home. Breakfast served by Bob was excellent; french toast, fresh fruit, homemade bread, orange juice, and coffee. Bob is a treat to talk to and a good resource for trip ideas. If we're back in the area, we'll definitely be staying here!”

“The Curwen House was beautiful...however not for anyone who has mobility issues. It was adults only, and the rooms were beautiful and lots of space..close to downtown....clean and the ladies at breakfast were wonderful. Not recommended for people with walking issues.”

“It's a fun place to explore with kids. I've only been in the off-season. There is a good playground, trails around the island, old bunkers, a small beach, a small lighthouse, an abandoned coast guard building, an old hangar, and boats. It's easy to spend about 2 hours exploring with kids.”
