“A nice place to take a nice walk and relax”

“Great place to take a walk. Being your dog during the week, and they can go off leash. Beautifulin any season, I've been there in all 4 of em. Nice walk through the woods, you'll see deer, squirrels, and even hear owls. I was walking there today and heard two owls calling out. Really special walk. Great place to let the kids run around. There's a couple of open fields to watch them and then it gors back to trails in the woods.”

“Great spot for birding”

“Really nice place for birding and also for a relaxed walk. The people who come here are extremely friendly and helpful. Been there couple of days back after reading an online post about Long eared Owl sightings. Glad I went there and saw the beautiful bird soaking up the sun and dozing.”

“This either is Lexington conservation land or it abuts Lexington conservation land. We went to Wilson Farm a couple of days ago and then walked home along the conservation land next to the field, which is a nice walk. I recommend it. We had a good time although we didn't stop long at West farm.”

“A nice wooded spot for walking and enjoying a little nature in the middle of some dense neighborhoods.”

“Whipple Hill is a small conservation area on the Winchester / Lexington border. There is sometimes limited parking but you can park on nearby side streets. There is a central ridge - Whipple Hill is the highest point on the NW side of Boston of the hills surrounding Boston Basin - with a few views, and a number of marked forest paths. There is also a nice pond with a small loop around that. Boardwalks protect some of the muddiest areas.”

“A good place to view meteor showers as well as sunsets. Not much view of Boston or the local area, however. Dogs are welcome.”
