“Nina Fine, my dear holistic doctor of Ayurveda, had my best interests at heart from the very first day. At the time of my first visit, I had had quite a devastating case of psoriasis. I came to Nina after trying conventional medical doctors and a few holistic practitioners. Some of their recommendations worked but did not solve the problem. She is very friendly and professional, and her food selection is impressive. Everything is freshly made in the kitchen, many low sodium choices, extensive menu that is changing every day. “I Have not attended Mass here, since I lived down the street years ago. I had recently attended a group downstairs in the furnished basement of the church called ’Walking With A Purpose’. It's the best group I have joined in many years. It's a Woman's group that meets a few Wednesdays nights a season at St. Linus and the remaining Wednesday nights on Zoom. Depending on the Book selected the outline and topics are Bible and Scripture based, however it's so much more than A Bible Study Group! We share our Faith, Feelings, Beliefs, a long with Prayers and Support for each other! Whether we're laughing or crying, It's definitely a blessing to be apart of something like this again after many many years! “I can't say enough good things about Ben and his crew. We had recently bought a house which needed a lot of work. We started with one contractor, but that wasn't working. Ben took over the job, and over the course of two building seasons, totally transformed the exterior of our house. (The job was stalled in the middle to deal with a zoning / design issue outside of Ben's scope of work.) He sealed up the house, installed cedar shingle siding, built two new entrances with large cedar timber and a cedar-timber storage structure. In the process, he fixed several roofing issues that were inherent in the original design of the house. The job also included the masonry of building a new porch with granite surfacing and granite block steps. The work was done in the pandemic, with all the supply-chain issues. and Ben helped us deal with those issues when they surfaced. He has a good eye, and suggested some design tweaks along the way that were a good improvement in the design. It looks great, is nice and tight---we are totally happy with the results.”
