“My first time to visit here. Walked for about 2 hours. Absolutely wonderful! Excellent trails, expansive wetlands, nice mix of upland habitats, and interesting remnants from former military installation. Good parking. Immediate access to Assabet River and paved rail trail. Will be coming back many times for further exploration.”

Travel agency Park

“This is a very nice, relatively large, forested area with many trails for hiking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, or bird-watching, etc. It is open during daylight hours and conveniently located for people living in Boston's western suburbs. Once inside the reserve suburban sounds disappear, and you might forget that only a few minutes early you entered from a busy road.”
