“This place is great if they hold records you are interested in. I have gone here for many years on and off depending on what I am researching. They have been doing a lot of work organizing records over the years. The staff is very professional, and glad to help. I actually prefer them to many of people working at the main facilities in DC. Too bad I cannot take them with me when I go there. A tip for new Researchers: E-mail them in advance and tell them what you are looking for. They may not be able to weed through to find the exact record you seek, but they can make sure you have the right haystack in front of you when you arrive, or save you a trip.”
