“I attended a talk by Anthony Mitchell Sammarco, a historian who gave a presentation on the Baker's Chocolate Company of Massachusetts! Very informative and the "Goodies" afterwards (made with Baker's Chocolate naturally) we're delicious! The presentation was open to the public and free”

“Wow! Some really incredible pieces here. We were lucky enough to have the co-owner give us a quick tour of the art and history (at no extra charge) before setting us loose on the grounds. If you are in the area, don't miss out on this experience. It's easy to miss on the main road, look for the sign and the giant egg sculptures. Once you are on the side road to the place, make sure to follow signage as there are also private residences on the same side road.”

“I visited this site even though I knew that the buildings would be closed for winter. The real gain has been that I can now say that I have been here. Will have to revisit between mid May to October to get a feel of history.”

“Pictures cannot do justice to the amazing site my eyes beheld inside this stunning and unique house. I was at a loss for words when I entered the house, which is also a residence of two amazing artists. It is a private home and you can only visit it by appointment. The couple who lives here painted everything in the house. They are extremely talented and amazing artists. They do not charge money for the visit but please support them by purchasing art books they have available for sale. As a bonus if you come to visit you get to meet a puppy they rescued from Russia!!!”

“If I could give a hundred stars I would! My wife and I took a ride on the B-17 Bomber plane. This was at Palwaukee airport in Wheeling IL. It was the best experience ever and worth every penny! We flew over Lake Michigan and get this, they had the top bubble off on the top of the plane and we were able to stick out heads out! That's right! We were standing up with our heads sticking out of the plane and we saw the Chicago Sky line. It was stunning! Our pilot had over 8,000 hours of flight time, so we felt very safe. We encourage you to make this flight. You won't be disappointed, and I promise you it will be worth every penny. My wife and I are 62 years old with some very minor mobility issues and we had no problem getting on and off. If they come to Wheeling in 2020 we would like to do it again. Thanks to everyone there for giving us a wonderful time.”
