“I was referred 2 years ago to HearSmart by my friend, Tom, who had just been fitted there with new hearing aids. I was due for replacement of 10 year old hearing aids myself, so I investigated by getting a hearing evaluation with Dr. Ford. I decided at the time that new aids were not within my budget, but realizing my aids were doing less for me all the time, the seed was planted and I planned ahead. In the meantime, I brought my hearing aids to another audiologist (in Wilmington) who handled that brand and had the software for tuning my old hearing aids. The other audiologist had actually been taught by Dr. Ford in at least one of her classes. A little over a year later, with an incentive from my health insurer, I decided it was time, and was able to schedule an appointment, this time with Dr. Hill. I did a lot of research in advance on the web, read and watched as many good audiologist reviews as I could find, and had a few hearing aid models in mind as a result. My confidence in Dr. Hill was enhanced by the care she took in her evaluation, and in her recommendation of hearing aid - my first choice, based on my research, the Phonak Audeo M-R Bluetooth, with the Roger remote unit. I can only say that using these is like stepping into a new world. I have been hearing things like the tinkle of water in the sink, the sound of crickets, etc, that I hadn't heard in years. Music now sounds so much better - I'm hearing details I had forgotten existed. And the Roger unit has made it possible for me to follow multiple conversations around a table, something I haven't been able to do for many years. It's a cliche to say that I didn't realize what I was missing, but that is the fact. My experience with Doctors Ford and Hill, and their support staff has left me with no other choice - I wouldn't go anywhere else, in fact I travel from Arlington to Littleton, just for their professional expertise, personal care, communication, and how well they have handled the COVID-19 measures. I just can't imagine going anywhere else.”

“I am an older (52 years old) runner that was looking for physical therapy to address a lingering hamstring injury that had impacted my training for roughly 2 years. I had never done physical therapy and was curious about what it entailed and hopeful that it would accelerate my recovery. Brett was great at helping me understand the science behind the exercises and my underlying challenges with flexibility, strength, and balance. The weekly sessions started with an open discussion on my activity and pain/discomfort, transitioned into massage/needle/table to focus on problematic areas (legs, hips, ankles), and finished with exercises he would record for continuing at home. As I progressed, the exercises transitioned into strength training. Throughout the entire process, Brett has been positive, energetic, understanding, realistic/grounded, and knowledgeable. I could not be happier with the results. The sessions have given me confidence, addressed my injury at a core level rather than a quick patch, given me knowledge and routines to help avoid future injury, and my running feels more natural. My goal was to recover while training for a marathon in September and Brett’s help was critical in reaching this goal.”
