“I am 45YO and I have had cats since I was a kid. I have been to my share of vets over the years. WLCC is by far the best I have ever been to. I have been a customer for almost 10 years now and I will not go anywhere else. I recently had an emergency and they got me right in no problem. They are always caring, compassionate and understanding and always have time for my many questions. I usually have Dr. Donovan and I think she is an awesome vet, you can tell that she has a lot of experience. The technician Marissa is awesome too.”

“Very knowledgeable and caring staff. Good for "unusual" pets like our leopard geco and rat that needed medical care today. We left feeling reassured and relieved that we had found a vet who cared as much as we did for our pets.”

“I've unfortunately had a lot of emergencies with one of my dogs since COVID started this year. It is really tough to wait in your car or at home for hours for someone to call and give you updates on your pet, but its the same situation everywhere right now and I don't fault the VCA for this. I think they are trying their best to keep up but I have been concerned once or twice about how urgently they are attending to my dog based on her condition. I've been told in the past that they will bypass the "line" in order to see/treat the very urgent cases asap but I worry that they can't always make that judgement without seeing/evaluating the pet first. Most of the staff is really nice, professional and accommodating. I have come across 2-3 techs that have been flat out rude to me on the phone, but thankfully this is not usually the case. When my dog was here for an extended stay, they let me come visit her (outside only) one day just to put my mind at ease. Usually if my dog has to spend the night I will get a picture texted to me before bed or in the morning with an update, which is greatly appreciated. Doesn't always happen right now since they are so busy though. The doctors seem very thorough in their work and I like that they usually present me with my options and let me choose what I'd like to do - ex. "we can run bloodwork and also do an ultrasound, but if the cost is too much I'd recommend starting with just the bloodwork and we'll go from there". Lately my dog has been seeing Dr. Cornetta who is very patient with me and my frantic, anxiety-ridden questions. I trust her expertise and appreciate that she's trying her best to keep me calm throughout a pretty scary diagnosis/treatment plan with my dog!”

“It may be a bit more expensive then others but I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. It's clean and they have ample room to sit in the waiting area. From the time you walk in to the time you finish everyone is so courteous. You can tell each person who works here is so caring for your pet and enjoys working there. I had an emergency and they got my dog in asap. The place is clean and they have a pharmacy on hand. I've gone to other local vets in the past and had a horrible experience with one, which I won't name. But I took one here when she became quite ill. They were so sympathetic and so supportive. I started taking my other dog here. They truly are the very best. Gentle, thorough and compassionate. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a pet. I'd give them a 10 star review if I could. Thank you South Coastal for all that you do!”

“I took my 2 red eared slider turtles for their first check up to make sure everything was good. We had to travel about 45 minutes from where we live because this was the closest place that specializes in turtles but it was well worth the drive!! The doctor was so wonderful with them and gave my husband and I new information that will better our turtles lives. Not only was the doctor great, the employees were so nice and hands on. The facility itself holds more turtles and tortoises then I have ever seen under one roof. It was fascinating. Please consider donating (if you can) when visiting! What they are doing here is absolutely amazing.”
