He also spoke so we could understand him and explained everything in detail of what the surgery would involve and what he could expect afterward. As for the surgery itself he was absolutely wonderful and it was more complicated that was expected and he handled everything very well. Afterward, he came to check on my husband and exam him every day and was always available. We truly cannot say enough about him and the entire staff of Good Samaritan as well and we just so appreciate everything he has done for my husband. We would never want another surgeon for anything again other than Dr. Grotz.”

“The VA is a good place to go for a multitude of resources and benefits. What irks me is that the VA gets a bad reputation for its services and people when in reality most of the frustrations that veterans have is that they’re not prepared, didn’t do any research, or simply want everything done for them. I’m no professional, I’m a veteran myself that uses the services at this location and I gather all the information aforementioned from sitting and listening to the very loud and disrespectful people that come in yelling at the receptionists for no good reason. If you need help and you’re willing to help yourself, the VA is a great place.”
